Yesterday we celebrated International Literacy Day!
The aim of International Literacy Day is to highlight the importance of literacy to individuals, communities and societies globally.
At our school we invited students, parents, teachers and other GCCS staff to participate in a read-a-thon. Parents read to their children's classes and our older students read to our younger students creating a community of readers and listeners of all ages.
