Thank you to Global Rhythms in Our Time (G.R.I.O.T) for performing with our 5th grade students and teaching them about Afro Latin jazz. GRIOT is “an educational collaboration between the New York City Mission Society and the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance to provide free musical instruction to the youth of Harlem and surrounding areas.” GRIOT is now accepting applicants for its after-school program.
